The story of Atlantis, told in Greek mythology, is one that has captivated humanity for thousands of years. The story goes that this once, great and phenomenally wealthy island was governed by the Greek god Poseidon. His people wear said to be wise and fair but over time, the unconceivable wealth of gold and jewels in this idyllic paradise gave birth to the eventual downfall of Atlantis….Greed.

Zeus decided that the Atlantans must be punished and cast a barrage of tsunamis, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes upon Atlantis the like of which the world has ever seen. Within one night, the entire city was destroyed.
Rumour has it that the crumbling remains of the lost city of gold still lay on the sea bed beneath the Canary Islands, waiting to be found.
